As all interesting lives twist and wind around happenings and circumstances, mine has taken a round-about, curious dog-leg into the world of domestic violence awareness advocacy.  As I made my journey and the doors opened, I gladly stepped through them to each new adventure, my eyes focused on one thing…to give a voice to victims.  I painfully remember how frustrating and terrifying it is to be ashamed and silent about what was happening in my own home.

Look over my upcoming events below and join me if you can! (Note: some events are private and not open to the public.)

  • I will be attending a Domestic Violence Workshop called “A Cry for Help”  in Bethesda, Maryland on Saturday, September 15. Organized by Rose Saad, it will be held at the Women’s Club of Bethesda and begins at 9:00. This event is open to the public but there is a $10.00 fee to attend.  For more information:
  • I will be speaking at various Correctional Institutions across the state in the next few months.  I speak to them about the effect of domestic violence on the victim.

If you are looking for someone to speak at your next event, please contact me.  You’ll see from my past events that I’ve spoken at a variety of venues.  Perhaps I could be of some help at your next event?
